Arts Council England (ACE) champions, develops and invests in artistic and cultural experiences that enrich people’s lives. ACE support activities across the arts, museums and libraries – from theatre to digital art, reading to dance, music to literature, and crafts to collections. Between 2015 and 2018, ACE will invest £1.1 billion of public money from government and an estimated £700 million from the National Lottery to help create art and culture experiences for everyone, everywhere.
Grants for the Arts is their open access funding programme for individuals, art organisations and other people who use the arts in their work. ACE offer awards from £1,000 to £100,000 to support a wide variety of arts-related activities, from dance to visual arts, literature to theatre, music to combined arts.
Andrew Proctor will explain more and answer your questions about the Grants for the Arts scheme. In the afternoon, selected makers will be invited to discuss their project ideas in a half hour one to one meeting.
One to One Meetings
We have 5 one to one meeting slots available where makers and artists can discuss their project ideas directly with Andrew Proctor in the context of applying for Grants for the Arts.
We know that this will be popular and there will be a waiting list. If you’d like to apply for one of the 5 One to One meetings please download the attachment below and you take some time to answer the questions (one page of A4 should be sufficient)
We will pass on your answers and some background information to Andrew before the selection happens and meetings take place so that you can make the most of the time. You will be notified by email if you have one of the 5 One to One sessions.
