10am-12noon: Digital Photography –Discover how to take professional photos, using a green screen and props to frame your subject. Learn new skills in photoshop and use filters to edit the images in a range of styles, including fantasy, artistic and abstract. All photos created in the session will be sent digitally, as well as the option to print a few of your favourites.
1pm – 3pm: The Art of Foley – Learn about the art of foley and how filmmakers create sound effects in movies. You will use art materials to recreate a range of sounds to accompany a short animation, before recording the sounds using high quality microphones. Immerse yourself in the sound effects created, using silent disco headphones. The final foley creation will be digitally sent following the workshop so you can share with family and friends.
