Reach Out June 2023

Reach Out is a series of SEN craft workshops for children and young people with additional needs who cannot access mainstream activities.

Join us during Spring Half Term for 2 exciting sessions with Kelly Thayanukulvat. Come along for one or both sessions.

1/6/23 – 10am-12noon: Sgraffito Cereamics – Sgraffitio is a cereamic technique where you apply galze to a clay plaque or coaster before scratching it away in an exciting design or pattern. Use your own ideas to create something totally unique.

1/6/23 – 1pm-3pm: Printmaking – Design and make your own polyestyrene printing blocks before printing a range of cards and artwork. Use your own designs and make some wonderful printed masterpieces.

£25 whole day / £12.50 a session | 10am-12noon / 1pm-3pm

Reach Out workshops are exclusively for Hampshire young people who have a Gateway Card+. All existing previous Gateway Card holders need to have applied for a new one in order to come to these sessions. Participants may stay all day. Alternatively you may select either the morning session (10am-12noon) or afternoon session (1pm-3pm). Participants will be limited to just 6 people per session.

• These sessions are designed for the young person to attend on their own, giving the parent a short break. Parents are welcome to stay if they child prefers it. Parents are not intended to come in and do the workshop as well.
• The cost for the full day is £25, alternatively the cost for a 2hr Session is £12.50 – This includes all materials.
• There are 6 places per workshop only so please book early to avoid disappointment. Places will be sold on a first come first served basis, with payment securing your place.
