Reach Out October Half Term
Reach Out is a series of SEN craft workshops for children and young people with additional needs who cannot access mainstream activities.
Join us during October Half Term with gilder Richard Walker and textile designer Kathryn Green for 2 exciting and halloween inspired sessions, come along for one or both sessions.
10am-12noon: Gilded Skulls – Richard will show you all the tips & tricks you need to know to transform a plain plastic skull into a gilded masterpiece… perfect for your Halloween display!
1pm – 3pm: Halloween Tie Dye – Transform some plain white garments using black, orange and purple fabric dyes. Use different techniques to create spooky designs & patterns.
£24 whole day / £12 a session | 10am-12noon / 1pm-3pm
Reach Out workshops are exclusively for Hampshire young people who have a Gateway Card+. All existing previous Gateway Card holders need to have applied for a new one in order to come to these sessions. Participants may stay all day. Alternatively you may select either the morning session (10am-12noon) or afternoon session (1pm-3pm). Participants will be limited to just 6 people per session.
- These sessions are designed for the young person to attend on their own, giving the parent a short break. Parents are welcome to stay if they child prefers it. Parents are not intended to come in and do the workshop as well.
- The cost for the full day is £24, alternatively the cost for a 2hr Session is £12 – This includes all materials.
- There are 6 places per workshop only so please book early to avoid disappointment. places will be sold on a first come first served basis, with payment securing your place.
