Our weekly courses offer a fantastic opportunity for makers of all levels of ability to learn brand new skills and develop existing ones.
Our Weekly Wildlife Drawing Course runs on Wednesday evenings.
Class Dates:
Wednesday Evenings 7-9pm:
Block 1: January 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, February 7th
Block 2: February 21st, 28th, March 6th, 13th, 20th

Description:
Over the five weeks we shall be looking at how to capture the shape, movement and character of animals. Experimenting with marking making and how it can be used to emulate fur, feathers and scales. The lessons will be predominantly in graphite and pen, but students are free to experiment with other media if they wish.
Each lesson will look at a technique which will be practiced through a series of short drawing exercises then using this new skill we will go on to develop a final piece of artwork during the second half of the lesson putting into practice what we have learnt.
At the end of the five weeks student will come away with a tool belt of skills and techniques that they can carry forward to their own practice and a portfolio of wildlife studies and a finished piece framed up.
