‘Inspired’ is back! With its re-appearance in our annual Open Studios, Making Space is once again showcasing our very talented participants work!
Alongside beautiful pieces from our tutors, participants from across our summer, autumn and winter courses will be invited to showcase finished pieces, work in progress and sketchbook designs.
This term we have introduced some exciting new courses to the list of Making Space’s selection of evening workshops and are hoping to carry on programming new courses throughout the summer.
This has included a very successful “Perfectly Fitting Trouser course” with June Allnutt and “An Intro into Ceramics” course with two of our very own resident tenants, Catharine Russell and Peter Levy.
So be prepared to see some gorgeous pattern cutting and brilliant ceramics!
Work will also include our term time Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced jewellery courses, as well as the popular fused glass course.
With a diverse range of different craft forms and techniques, it’s an exhibition not to be missed. ‘Inspired’ will celebrate the high standard of work and design that our participants have achieved over the last year through our evening classes.
We cannot wait to see all of the wonderful pieces they have to share, as I’m sure you cannot either!
Inspired will be showcased throughout the weekend of Making Space Open Studios, 14th & 15th May 2016.
If you are a participant of one of our classes, or have been previously in the past year and would like to submit work please get in contact via admin@makingspace.org.
See you in May!
