In conversation with Andrea Harari, Director, Jagged Art

We are very excited to be hosting a conversation event involving Andrea Harari, founder and Director of the renowned London gallery, Jagged Art. Established in 2002, Jagged Art showcases stunning, complex and intriguing works of art emphasising innovative uses of materials from wood, glass, textiles, painting, photography to ceramics. Andrea Harari will be in conversation with Lynne, the Director at Making Space; offering a stimulating insight into her role as curator and director.
Andrea Harari, originally from Argentina, is one of the Founding Members of ARTE BA, the contemporary art fair of Buenos Aires and had organised it since its inception until 1995. Andrea also curated and co-ordinated a number of exhibitions in the major museums and galleries of BA. In 1995 Andrea moved to London to take a Modern Art course at Christie’s Education. Past experience includes the editorship of a contemporary art website and for four years she was the manager at the Raab Boukamel Gallery on Cork Street. In 2010 she was appointed as the London Manager for PINTA UK, the Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art Show.

Followed by questions and networking until 12.45pm.

After this Andrea will be hosting four half hour 1-2-1 sessions with artists who are keen to discuss their work and gain an expert’s eye.
One to One Meetings |
We have 4 one to one meeting slots available where makers can discuss their work and get feedback from Andrea. These will be booked on first come first served basis an on the proviso that each person who books provides some background information and brings approximately 4 pieces of work to the 1-2-1.
If you’d like to apply for one of the four 1-2-1 sessions please can you take some time to answer the questions below (one page of A4 should be sufficient) and send your answers back to Lynne Dick at director@makingspace.org by Friday 25 May 2018.
If you are allocated one of the four 1-2-1 sessions Making Space will contact you and take payment of an additional £12.
