A Space To Make: Showcase & Celebration
We will also be using our 2019 Open Studios to celebrate our community project; ASTM & ASTM:Youth. Funded by The Big Lottery these free bi-monthly drop in sessions allow creative locals access to Making Space where they can use ‘our space to make’. The sessions allow local residents the opportunity to get out of the house for a few hours, meet like-minded people, use our resources and materials and just get creative! We will be using one of our studio spaces to host a celebratory exhibition of the creativity shown by the participants who have attended the sessions over the last year!

Inspired 2019
A wonderful showcase of work made during our regular and master classes. This year we will include examples of jewellery, ceramics & gilding. There will also be a preview of work created by our Young Designers ahead of their 2019 Catwalk show in July and examples by course leaders.
The whole event is free to come to and if you’d like to make a day out of it after visiting Making Space you can go and explore more artists studios nearby as it’s also the May Days Art Trail on Hayling Island (Click here to find out more) and the Chichester Art Trail.
Please note that there is free parking available in the car par located behind Making Space and refreshments will be available all weekend. Making Space is an accessible building, is all on one level with lots of nearby accessible parking and an accessible toilet. For more information please email us.
