COURSE DESCRIPTION

We’ve organised this exciting workshop as part of our ongoing series of short taster sessions which allow you to try before you commit to a longer or more expensive course.

Work with Making Space tenant and gilder Richard Walker to have a go at the gilding art form known as Églomisé. Verre Églomisé is a French term referring to the process of applying both a design and gilding onto the rear face of glass to produce a mirror finish. Under Richard’s guidance you will learn how to gild glass and engrave an intricate design using the églomisé technique.
