Another entry from our blog series called Studio Stories where we hand our blog over to our lovely tenants giving them the platform to share their news and events. You can see all our current tenants online here.
For this Studio Stories we’re handing over to Agata Wojcieszkiewicz, a fine artist based in Studio 11.
Agata grew up in Poland in the coastal city of Gdansk, where she also studied and obtained an MA in Fine Art Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in 2011. Shortly after graduating Agata moved to England to start her professional career as a painter. Since then, she has worked on numerous commissions and her work has been seen in many exhibitions in the UK as well as in her native country.
Agata has been organising and creating work for a solo exhibition in The Mezzanine Gallery at The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre in Havant which opened today!
The exhibition shows a collection of pieces from her ‘Assimilation’ series that she’s have been working on during the past three years. The exhibition runs till the 30 December 2018.
