My work involved the illustration and construction of handmade ready to wear fashion garments. These pieces are one of a kind limited edition items, made to be sold on and offline to different clients internationally. To achieve this, my inspirations are first developed through art, fashion, history and life. After these are realised, my research encompasses these elements and allows me to develop fashion garment concepts, which may involve prints or embellishment. Fashion illustrations are constructed to realise the pieces, which are then made using intricate and accurate pattern pieces as well as a mixture of domestic and industrial sewing machines.
I graduated in 2018, with a Second-Class Honours degree in Fashion Design. Since then I have been working as a freelance designer and striving to produce fashion garments and scarves to sell to the public. As well as this, my experiences include live projects, where I have worked with the likes of Dickies and Ted Baker to create garments for them based on projects that were set.
