Faye Hughes was formerly the founding artistic director of the Fitzrovia Chapel where she established the chapel’s essential business strategy and designed and curated the cultural programme, Lineage. Throughout her career she has worked with small arts organisations, developing and delivering quality creative programmes and initiatives, often incorporating craft practice and community elements. As a consultant she has worked within the arts and cultural sector across a number of creative practices including traditional and contemporary craft, visual arts and performance.
She is a writer and director, telling tales on stage, screen, wireless and in print. Her work has been performed in London’s West End, regional theatres across the UK and at both the Edinburgh and Brighton Festivals. Faye has directed productions in the West End, regional and fringe theatres and for the Edinburgh Festival and as an artist Faye produces theatrical installations globally.
