Join us this August for our Summer Open Studios
We’ve once again joined up with Hampshire Open Studios and will be opening our doors to you for one weekend this summer.
We will be open to the public on the following dates. There is no need to book, just turn up on the day.
Friday 26, Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 August 2022 | 11am-4pm
Over the course of the weekend you can meet, chat to and buy from our resident makers. You will also be able to enjoy Inspired: A community exhibition featuring work made by people inspired by their time at Making Space, from young people, to professional maker; it’s sure to leave you feeling inspired!
There will also be opportunities to get creative with us as we’ll be running 2 of our Little Lives | Making Together sessions on Saturday & Sunday. Just click on the link below to book your FREE spaces.
What’s Hampshire Open Studios
A county-wide open studio event running from the 20-29 August.
Artists from the New Forest, Romesy, Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Havant, Swanmore, Botley & Southampton (and everywhere else inbetween) will all be throwing open their doors and welcoming you to see their art / craft in their home / professional studios. Open Studios is a brilliant opportunity to see makers in their #MakingSpace and find out how and why they make what they do!

What’s On…
Community Bowl – We are looking to get everyone that visits us over the weekend to contribute to a Community Bowl – a bespoke ceramic piece where visitors can leave an impression, fingerprint or mark which will then be immortalised when fired.
Kathry Green Workshops – Over the weekend Kathryn will be hosting 3 workshops in her studio which you can book onto. Click on the links below to find out more and book your place!

We hope to see lots of you over the three days. Whether it’s your first time visiting us, or you have been coming for years, we are so excited to be running a face to face event after 2 years of having to be online. Pop the dtes in your diary now and we cant wait to see you!
