In 2024 Making Space is hosting three different selling events which we are now recruiting for. If you’re a maker looking for unique selling opportunities, then please sign up and join us at one, two, or all of the events listed below. From manned pitch options to pop-up shops (where you don’t have to be there) there is something for everyone!

6 & 7 APRIL | 11-4PM | STOREY GARDENS, STAUNTON COUNTRY PARK

Our first selling event of 2024 will be a Country Makers’ Market at Staunton Country Park. On the last weekend of the Easter Break you can find us in The Barn at Storey Gardens at Staunton Country Park. We will be running a pop-up shop featuring a variety of makers’ work. The makers’ market will be open from 11am-4pm both days and we will also be running craft workshops o keep the kids occupied while parents browse!

Work can be dropped off at Making Space in the week leading up to the event and we will do all the work for you; promoting, selling, setting up and packaging. Making Space will take a 25% commission on all sales made so please bear this in mind when giving us your items / prices. 

17 & 18 AUGUST | 11-4PM | MAKING SPACE, HAVANT

As part of our annual Open Studios event we will be hosting a pop-up shop in our Jewellery Studio, so as well as visiting all our wonderful resident makers, visitors can also browse from a selected & curated shop full of wonderful hand-made items! 

Work can be dropped off at Making Space in the week leading up to the event and we will do all the work for you; promoting, selling, setting up and packaging. Making Space will take a 25% commission on all sales made so please bear this in mind when giving us your items / prices. 

29, 30 NOVEMBER & 1 DECEMBER | 4-9PM/11-4PM | MAKING SPACE, HAVANT

For the third year running Making Space will transform for a weekend ready for our maker-curated winter craft fair. A mix of a traditional craft fair with manned pitches and our ever so popular pop-up shop (which this year will expand into one of our studio spaces as well as our jewellery studio). Those manning their own pitches can manage all their own sales and set up will be on Friday from 12noon. 

For those that can’t be there in person, our Pop-Up Shop does it all for you. Work can be dropped off at Making Space in the week leading up to the event and we will do all the work for you; promoting, selling, setting up and packaging. Making Space will take a 25% commission on all sales made so please bear this in mind when giving us your items / prices. 

We have a range of pitches available and will recommend the best space for you depending on what you’re selling. 

PRICES AND MORE INFORMATION

Each event costs £75 each to attend but if you’d like to book all 3 there is a discount to £200. These prices are for all the days of each event, not per day. 

If you’d like to apply to be a part of any of these events please complete the application form below. Your application will be reviewed by a maker panel and we will get back to you ASAP. Please note we will not be able to accept everyone and need to ensure a high-quality and diverse mix of exhibitors throughout.
